Spoon Making is fun and easy -- Just follow these simple steps below to complete your spoons. Remember using the peel and stick prism tapes found in Real Pro's SportFishing's lure making catalogue you can easily make hundreds of different spoons for every water condition.

All the components used to make these spoons are available from Real Pro's SportFishing.


Gather all the required materials for your spoons. You will require:

  • Spoon blanks

  • Split rings

  • Hooks (treble or Siwash)

  • An assortment of peel and stick prism tapes

  • Split Ring Pliers, scissors, and a sharp knife

Decorate your spoon with peal and stick prism tape!

Step 1: Using the scissors cut a piece of peel and stick prism
tape
to closely match the size of your spoon.

Step 2:: Remove the backing from the peel and stick prism
tape

Step 3: Using your fingers, firmly press the prism tape onto your
spoon.

Step 4: Now using your sharp knife, carefully slide the blade
along the edge of your spoon and remove any excess prism tape.

Step 5:: Your spoon with first layer of peel and stick prism
tape

Step 6:: Using your scissors cut a second smaller strip of
prism tape.

Step 7:: Remove backing and firmly press onto the center of
previously placed prism tape.

Step 8:: Again, using your sharp knife trim any excess prism
tape
